Granary Park offers access to exceptional schools for families of all types! The community is served by the Clay County School District, a top-ten school district in the state of Florida. The District has 38,284 students in grades PK, K-12 and a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1. Clay County School District students’ proficiency in math is 20% higher than the national average, and 30% higher than the national average in reading.

Granary Park is zoned for Lake Asbury Elementary School, Lake Asbury Jr High School and Clay High School, with several alternative school options in the area as well. Clay Charter Academy and St Johns Classical Academy are just two of the Charter Schools near Granary Park. 

Educational opportunities don’t need to stop after high school. The University of North Florida, Jacksonville University and Florida State College at Jacksonville offer excellent educational opportunities with a personal atmosphere, and the University of Florida in Gainesville is just an hour’s drive away.

Lake Asbury Elementary School

School is cool at Lake Asbury, home of the Rams! Located a mile west of Granary Park, Lake Asbury Elementary School has 830 students in grades PK, K-6 with an excellent student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. The school boasts innovative instructional technology and top-notch performance scores; it’s ranked nationally in the top 20% of all elementary schools with strong proficiency in math and reading. 

Lake Asbury Junior High School

Go Tigers! Lake Asbury Junior High School is a short walk or bike ride down Sandridge road, less than a mile from Granary Park. With strong academic programs and plenty of clubs, sports and activities, LAJHS provides a true family of learning. The school offers a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1 with well-regarded STEM programs and strong test scores.

Clay High School

With 1,500 students, CHS offers something for everyone. The school boasts a 94% graduation rate with a wide range of AP programs, core academic offerings, electives and an excellent range of extracurricular activities and sports (with several MLB and NFL players among CHS alumni)!
